# Gameplay Mechanics & Core Loop

The in-game economy and player progression in Endless Clash are strictly built upon a continuous, four-pillar core loop: Battle -> Loot -> Upgrade -> Repeat. \
* **Battle (Combat):** Before entering the arena, players strategically assemble a squad of four characters. Based on their unique roles and abilities, heroes are deployed into a specific tactical formation—two in the frontline (vanguard) and two in the backline (rearguard)—to actively exploit opponents' weaknesses in our turn-based combat system.
* **Loot (Resource Acquisition)**: By emerging victorious, players earn essential resources including Tokens, Gems, Star Points, Runes, and various Loot Boxes.
